In today lesson we was told by the tutor (Peter) to set up the studio. However, as a group we start set up all the equipment we use in the studio such as tricaster, camera, sound mixer, etc. and also today we set the red head lights which we will use in the live show day. Moreover, after setting up the equipment I thought we will have a properly rehearsal and do practice on our individually roles but unfortunately it wasn’t the way I thought about it. I don’t want to criticise or blame anyone but I think we should do the task which is given by tutor and make the show better by doing more practical rehearsal especially on each individual roles. As I mentioned above I don’t want to criticise or blame anyone but the way student acted in today lesson it wasn’t in professional way after we set up the equipment in studio most of students went back to computers and were watching YouTube and I found it really useless because it was only couple of students doing some practical rehearsal on their roles. Overall I think the both directors should be more organised and have better communication with floor managers and camera operators to make sure all the paper works has been done or if not done yet to order them to do what should have to be done. Also today after I finished College in my way back home I went to Lever Street and I met Mr Peter Hughes the music tutor to find out about VT’s which Myself, Nabeel, Josh and Andy Greenland will film for the show. Furthermore, I had 5 to 10 minute meeting with him (Peter Hughes). After that I received email from him (Peter Hughes) which is the list of all the students name for the live show in below table.
